In the friendly township of Elgol at the tip of the Strathaird peninsular there is a steep hill running down to the shore. Perched on the lip of this hill is a cottage, a snug cosy cottage with perhaps some of the most spectacular views in Europe.
Atlantic View has room to sleep up to six visitors and provides a perfect base for exploring Strathaird, The Cuillin, Skye and the west coast of Scotland. Oh yes...and we don't mind if you bring your dog along!

Skye in Summer
Over the past couple of years, while England has been drenched in rain, Skye has had long periods of summery weather. In fact, this year has seen springs drying up and more cases of sunburn than I can remember! While we can't promise you great weather, it doesn't really matter, there's always something interesting to do.Come to Skye now - the stags have re-grown their antlers and look spectacular, the sea-food is fresh and tasty and the boats trips are a wonderful way to spend a day.
